Three guys started this journey in the winter of 2015, on Yzerfontein main beach. On that day, at 05h00, we hiked north along 16-mile beach into daylight, and into the West Coast National Park.

We walked over the dunes past a big herd of eland and went down to Langebaan lagoon. We got into kayaks and paddled to the other side of the lagoon and then mountain biked back to Yzerfontein. This adventure planted the seed to what has now become a reality, Yzerfontein Sea Sport. With this rental service we will contribute to the greater community, adding a brand new attraction for the growing number of visitors to Yzerfontein. Why bring it, if you can just rent it?!
